Nestled in the rugged mountains outside Missoula, Montana, Victoria spent much of her childhood exploring the wilderness and cultivating a vivid imagination. Roaming freely through the forests with her siblings, she transformed the natural world into a realm of adventure, where epic sword fights raged, trolls lurked beneath imagined bridges, and towering castles awaited daring rescues. Her faithful horse, Joe, was a constant companion on these childhood quests, always ready for the next grand adventure. If you've seen Bridge to Terabithia, you'll have a sense of the magic and wonder that shaped her early years.

Those experiences continue to inspire Victoria's work as a painter. Her art is rooted in a lifelong love of storytelling, imagination, and the beauty of the natural world. Through her paintings, she seeks to capture the sense of wonder, curiosity, and possibility that first took root during her childhood adventures in the Montana wilderness.

A dreamer at heart, Victoria carried her creativity into adulthood while co-raising and homeschooling four children. Today, life has come full circle. She and her husband live in a rustic log cabin in the woods of Grand Blanc, Michigan, where they share their home with two dogs, Mia and Gus, and a delightfully moody cat named Tuxedo.

When she is not painting, Victoria enjoys iced coffee, gardening, and immersing herself in science fiction, fantasy, and practical how-to books. Above all, she believes in slowing down long enough to appreciate life's simple joys and, quite literally, stop and smell the roses.
